This is a class designed for kids going into grades 4th to 8th. Mentors are high schoolers familiar with different fields of speech and debate. When students go into middle and high school, their school may have the opportunity for them to compete in speech and debate. This course is designed for kids to learn the basics of speech in debate. In this course we will go over ways to overcome fears in public speaking, the different events students can pursue in middle and high school, and speaking drills. Though these programs are free, we would really appreciated if you donated to help other kids around the world receive the same education and opportunities as all of us. Anything helps
Goals
This course is designed to allow kids to express themselves through different forms of speech and debate. Public Speaking is a skill that comes to be very handy throughout your lifetime. Your child will be able to learn basics about different events they could pursue and learning about these events. Everything will be simplified for your child to understand thoroughly. This course most likely will be continued year-long, but is getting a start up over the summer, so your child could continue throughout the year.
